Courses offered:

Intro to Microcomputers

Introduces the students to the hardware components (monitor, keyboard, processor, printer, and operating system) and how to use the mouse effectively.

Windows 98

Includes introductory lesson on computers as well as using and understanding the Desktop, Taskbar, and Windows Explorer. How to use menus/windows/programs, discusses My Computer, working with diskettes, explorer, files and folders. Create folders, copy, move, and delete files. Using the recycle bin, customizing menus, using the taskbar, fonts, and accessories.

Window 2000 Professional

This course introduces the user to various methods of customization available in Windows 2000 to allow the user to streamline their work and tailor to their own specific needs. Methods of customizing the desktop, the Control Panel, and Internet Explorer 5 are discussed. This course also introduces the user to the various networking features available in Windows 2000. It explains how to share resources over the network, get connected to the Internet, and work with the Internet.

Intro to MS Word 2000 / XP / 2003

This course covers basic document skills, check spelling and grammar, and work with document views. The student will also learn how to print and preview documents, envelopes and labels. This course covers creating and formatting documents. It includes task on character, paragraph, and document formatting, setting tabs, indenting paragraphs, and using bullets.

Intermediate MS Word 2000 / XP / 2003

This course covers customization and automation in Word. Tasks include customizing tool bars, using Macros, using forms, modifying tables, using Table Tools, sorting data, and using formulas.

Advanced MS Word 2000 / XP / 2003

This course covers the Mail Merge process. Tasks include using Mail Merge, modifying the Data Source, modifying the main document, creating mail labels and envelopes, inserting graphic files, editing pictures, and using Word Art.

Intro to Excel 2000 / XP / 2003

This course covers basic techniques for managing large or multiple worksheets. It includes tasks such as using Paste Special, Range Names, Labels in Formulas, and Multiple Workbooks.

Intermediate Excel 2000 / XP / 2003

This course introduces the skills necessary for using worksheets as a database. It includes tasks to create databases, sort data, and work with compound Formulas.

Advanced Excel 2000 / XP / 2003

This course introduces the skills necessary to organize Excel information using styles, custom format, and templates; consolidating worksheets, using comments and custom views.

Intro to PowerPoint 2000 / XP / 2003

This course is designed to introduce the student to slide show presentations. Student will learn how to design and edit Slideshows. The course also covers screen transitions and automatic timings.

Intermediate PowerPoint 2000 / XP / 2003

This course is design to introduce the student to slideshow animation, video clips, and music files. The course will also cover creating and using Design Templates. The course teaches the student to create commercial quality presentations.

Intro to Access 2000 / XP / 2003

This course introduces the skills necessary for setting up and using database tables in Access. It includes tasks to create, edit and work with tables, and set field properties. Students will also learn how to find, filter, and print data. The course introduces the skills necessary to use the querying, analyzing and reporting capabilities. It includes tasks such as creating relationships, using simple queries, modifying query results, and creating basic forms and reports

Intermediate Access 2000 / XP / 2003

This course introduces students to more advanced features of tables and queries. It includes modifying tables, using operators in queries, design advanced queries, and create query wizards. The course introduces the student to the more advanced features of forms and reports.

Advanced Access 2000 / XP / 2003

This course introduces students to the more advanced features. Tasks include using charts, sub-forms, other form techniques, and Active X controls. Students will also learn how to work with indexes, and replicate databases.

Intro to WordPerfect 2000

Basic MS Project 2000 / XP / 2003

This course is a quick and easy introduction to the basics of MS Project and project management techniques. The course is designed to suit the needs of the beginning user and to cover new features in the latest version of the product.

Intermediate MS Project 2000 / XP / 2003

This course enables users to efficiently plan and manage project information, The course is designed for users who are frustrated by the documentation and want a clear explanation of the software that will let them start saving time immediately and quickly and effectively manage team projects. The course also gives an overview of the project management process and gets busy users up and running. Students will also learn how to manage multiple projects an essential topic not covered in the software documentation. The course also covers integration with Outlook and other Office applications and includes Project VBA and Web Client information.

Intro to HTML (Web Page Design)

This course introduces student to the basic concepts of programming web pages using HTML.

Intermediate to Advanced HTML (Web Page Design)

This course continues with advanced concepts of HTML and Java Script. Students will design their own Web Page

FrontPage 2000* / XP / 2003

This course provides an overview of the popular Web creation and management program and its processes, along with a reference section. Students will learn to integrate various kinds of documents into a Web site, create sites within a workgroup (Disk Bas), and use advanced features. The course is designed for those with no previous Web page production background, this book helps users quickly and easily produce Web pages using new industrial-strength Web tools such as advanced HTML and data-receiving templates, as well as Web page creation and publishing via electronic mail. Clear instructions present the fundamentals and then build upon learned skills as more complicated issues unfold.

Advanced FrontPage 2000 / XP / 2003

This course is the encore to the Intermediate Project 2000 Course, it gives managers all the tips, tricks, and shortcuts they need to master the world's leading project-management software. In conjunction with the version 2000 release, it contains with real-world examples timesaving macros.

Intro to SQL*

The course is aimed at familiarizing the student with the basic concepts of PL/SQL. It describes the different data types and variables available with PL/SQL. The course provides an overview of PL/SQL records and tables, and explains how to access a database from PL/SQL. It also describes the steps to write conditional constructs and controlling structures in PL/SQL along with different types of explicit cursors and their controlling parameters. Finally the course would enable the learner to identify exceptions, trap those exceptions, and handle the un-handled exceptions.

A+ CertifiedThis course is designed to train you in all aspects of PC Hardware and Operating Systems. This course covers: The System, The System Unit, Cases, Power Supplies, System Boards, Configuration, Settings, Expansion Slots, Adapter Cards, Disk Drives, System Speaker, and Peripherals. The course will also cover System Software, Operating Systems and Environments, and Applications.

Windows 2000 Workstation Administration*

This course is designed to prepare a system administrator or network manager to administer the Windows 2000 workstation. The course cover software installations from a server, managing the various file systems, create and implement user profiles, configure the TCP/IP protocol, user accounts, create and manage local group policies, auditing and security i.e.…configure the Encrypted File System…(EFS).

Windows 2000 Server Administration*

This course brings network administrators, systems engineers, and other MIS professionals up to speed on the latest features of Windows 2000 Server, including Active Directory™ services, Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0, the new, integrated console for administrative tools, and more. This course is designed for those who need to deploy, install, and configure installations, upgrade from previous versions, understand network addresses, manage day-to-day operations, configure storage, manage users and groups, implement security measures, configure mail services, troubleshoot, and perform other vital administrative tasks. Network+*

Network+ CertificationCovers a wide range of vendor-neutral networking technologies and skills such as configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network interface cards, hubs, routers, switches, servers, and clustering technologies. The A+ course is a recommended prerequisite for this course.

Beginning Cisco Overview Course*

The Beginning Cisco Overview course is designed to take students through basic network concepts and connections. Students are introduced to the different models and switching technologies, with a composite look at Internet protocols and how they function. The Network+ course is a recommended prerequisite for this course.

Intermediate Cisco Overview Course*

Student will get a first hand look at router configurations and interfaces. Students are introduced to the various routing protocols and Virtual LANs. The Beginning Cisco Overview Course is a recommended prerequisite for this course.

Advanced Cisco Overview Course*

CCNA CertifiedStudents are taught how to mange and administer a Cisco Internetwork. The course Will also cover the configuration of Novell IPX and Multiple Ethernet frame types.

This course also covers Access List and WANs. The Intermediate Cisco Overview Course is a recommended prerequisite for this course.

Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Administration*

This course covers all the information an administrator needs to properly install, configure and maintain an Exchange Server 5.5 system, whether a new installation or an upgrade. It includes extensive coverage on integrating multiple e-mail subsystems, and discusses specific tailoring techniques for the different client workstations. The course contains advanced troubleshooting and optimization techniques, and gives insider tips on many advanced functions and features. The course is specifically tailored to cover server administration issues, which it does in a deep and professional format.
